Contests, Giveaways, & A Month-Long Paranormal celebration

Autumn celebration_Free Clip artOctober News!

What an exciting month October is turning out to be!

Not only is the weather here in Seattle wonderfully drizzly and conducive to writing, but I learned this week my cover for Wishing for a Highlander took 3rd place in You Gotta Read Reviews’ Cover contest the last week in September!

Sept Cov 3 2Thank you to everyone who voted for me! And thank you YGRR for the beautiful button and the free advertising on your beautiful website for the months of October!

If you haven’t checked out YGRR for reviews, please do. They’re one of the better review sites, and they do an amazing job of helping authors with promo.

In addition to my cover contest news, I did two giveaways in the past few days. I wanted to take an opportunity to thank Jenna Jaxon for hosting me at her blog for a promo of my recent Lyrical release Road Rage.

I selected one commenter from that post to win an ecopy of Road Rage, and the winner is…

Carrie-Anne Brownian!

Thanks for commenting, Carrie-Anne. And watch out for those gasoline fires! I’ll get your ecopy of Road Rage to you STAT!

I also ran a poll for a new title for my latest contracted novel. The illustrious Krystal Shannan won the giveaway for an advance copy of Virgin’s Sacrifice before its release. Congrats, Krystal, and thanks for voting!

This month, several Lyrical authors will be celebrating the paranormal with a huge blog tour headed up by writing warrior Merissa McCain. A different author will be featured each day  on Merissa’s blog and also on Lyrical Press’s blog.

About Jessi Gage

Jessi lives with her husband and children in the Seattle area. She’s a passionate reader of all genres of romance, especially anything involving the paranormal. Ghosts, demons, vampires, witches, weres, faeries...you name it, she’ll read it. As for writing, she's sticking to Highlanders and contemporaries with a paranormal twist (for now). A career student (aka indecisive and inquisitive bookworm), Jessi brings her love of research to her worlds and characters. Her guiding tenet in her writing is that good always trumps evil, but not before evil gives good one heck of a run for its money. The last time she imagined a world without romance novels, her husband found her crouched in the corner, rocking.
