Free Publicity Fridays: A Free Anthology by Lyrical Press

Lyrical’s First Frost

18714271Colorful autumn leaves, mugs of hot cider, and brisk winds scented with pumpkin spice and bonfires… Celebrate autumn and discover some new favorite authors with a free anthology by Lyrical Press, Lryical’s First Frost.

I picked up my free copy a couple of weeks ago and adored reading it. This season has been a tough one for me and my family with some unexpected bad health news and some personal challenges that have put me through the emotional wringer. These short and sweet tales of overcoming challenges and discovering true love warmed me from the inside out when I needed it most.

Some of my favorite authors are Lyrical sisters (fellow authors with Lyrical press). This anthology represents some amazing talent. Among my favorite short stories are:

  • Autumn Piper’s Ripe for Trouble, a stand-alone short story set in her Trouble line of witty, emotionally gripping contemporary romances
  • Joanne Wadsworth’s Highlander’s Captive, a light-hearted historical piece set in late medieval Scotland
  • A Keeper by Charlotte McClain, a contemporary short story with a fresh voice and endearing characters
  • Slip the Skin by Tera Shanley, a paranormal romance with a Harley-riding shifter and a woman dying of a brain tumor

These are just a few of my favorites, but every story was really well done, superbly edited, and unique in charm and voice. This is a wonderful compilation, and I hope it will bring my Lyrical sisters some new blood–er readers, I mean. LOL!

The image above links to First Frost on Amazon. I hope you’ll head over there and pick up your free copy. The stories are just the right length to read in a sitting and will keep you warm as the weather outside gets colder.

Thanks for stopping by!

About Jessi Gage

Jessi lives with her husband and children in the Seattle area. She’s a passionate reader of all genres of romance, especially anything involving the paranormal. Ghosts, demons, vampires, witches, weres, name it, she’ll read it. As for writing, she's sticking to Highlanders and contemporaries with a paranormal twist (for now). A career student (aka indecisive and inquisitive bookworm), Jessi brings her love of research to her worlds and characters. Her guiding tenet in her writing is that good always trumps evil, but not before evil gives good one heck of a run for its money. The last time she imagined a world without romance novels, her husband found her crouched in the corner, rocking.
