When they made Speed 2 and set it on a boat, it was kind of cheesy. When Piper Denna http://www.piperdenna.com/ made Fantasy Mountain 2, aka Victoria’s Secret Wish, the second in her Fantasies, Inc. Series, and set it on a boat, it was sexy, dangerous, sweet, and … did I mention sexy?
Power couple Vic and Britt run a resort where they make their patrons’ wildest fantasies come true. Even so, their relationship is as traditional as can be…until Vic voices her secret fantasy and Britt finds just the right third to make it happen. Pro-swimmer, David, spices up Vic and Britt’s marriage bed during their vactation on the Aphrodite cruiseliner. But hearts will be broken when the vacation ends. Pick up Victoria’s Secret Wish to find out who does the leaving and whether Vic’s happy ending includes a well-hung Brittish lawyer with a tendancy to threaten violence toward anyone who looks at her sideways, a sexy swimmer who is shaved all over, or both.
A quick word about author Piper Denna. Her writing is real. She has a way of dragging me into a character’s head and keeping me there for the good, the bad, the ugly, and the insanely sexy. When I pick up anything by Piper, I know I’m going to be immersed in a world that feels as real as my own, and I’ll come away from it remembering the characters. Not only are her sex scenes smoking hot, but the emotion the characters give off is believable and powerful. I highly recommend Victoria’s Secret Wish and Piper’s other works, which you can peruse on her website (above).
To rev your engines, here are a few of my favorite lines from Victoria’s Secret Wish:
